Terms of service

Last updated 3 November 2026.

WM Pass is free software under the MIT License. Using it means accepting that license and these terms.

WM Pass is provided as is, without warranty of any kind. The developer is not liable for lost data, lost access or any other damage from using it, as the license says in full.

Your vault is encrypted with keys derived from your password. Nobody else holds a copy of that password, so nobody can recover a vault whose password and recovery key are both lost. Keeping a backup, and checking that it restores, is up to you.

When you connect WM Pass to Google Drive, Dropbox, OneDrive, Box or any other service, your use of that service stays under its own terms. WM Pass uses only the access you grant, as described in the privacy policy, and you can withdraw it at any time from that service’s account settings.

Do not use WM Pass to break the law or to get into accounts that are not yours.

Changes to these terms are published on this page with a new date. Questions go to the issue tracker on GitHub.
